Greetings from the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai

The National Visa Center has notified us of your appointment for an immigrant visa interview at our office in July 2013. Please note that beginning September 26, 2012, ALL visa applicants must create their profile by logging on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in and arrange for the delivery of their passport and visa BEFORE the interview. Under our new system, passports, visas, immigrant visa packets and other documents will be delivered to 33 document pick-up locations across India. Applicants are required to carry a print out of registration confirmation to present to the consulate on the day of the interview.

Its strange that the link takes you else where once you say that you are fist time user. I had to click No and then I was able to click on Apply for VISA and set up a profile for both of my parents.

So now they have the Passport and the VISA going to a standard location where the passports will be picked up after the Interview is done.

Hope this helps.

Our priority date was Sep 12 2012 and the Interview date is July 19 2013.

Hi,

While I make my profile in CGI website, I cant see me City name in the drop down menu, all metropolitan City names are as options, So now what should I do? until I select any city I can not continue further to complete my profile. I need to attain a F2a schedule Interview by NVC with US Consulate Mumbai - India.

was your city listed in drop down menu while you created profile? (mine is not listed)?
