I appreciate all input. Here is the situation:

I applied for AOS for my wife on Sep 20, 2006. She came here on a K-3 Visa on July 6, 2006.

A RFE request was sent to me for some immunization issues and my last tax years return. Sent the requested items back to them and they received the paskage on Nov. 1, 2006.

1. How long before an interview? I am in Oklahoma City and I know they are pretty quick.

2. If they needed more information, they would have presumably sent me another RFE request and I would have received it by now?

Thank you in advance.

From the USCIS website Oklahoma City is about 6 months wait for processing, so it should be more or less than 6 months unless security checks take long. So you never know.

Also look at AOS timelines here on VJ and filter for Oklahoma city to get an idea how ling they take.

it's so hard to say, honestly.

there are many variables during the AOS process...and it seems to be a ####### shoot as to how long it will take to be processed. take a look at our timeline. when we filed for AOS, the kansas city office was only on about a 4 month delay for processing I485's. well...in our case, Anthony's petition was approved 15 months and 1 day after our NOA1 date.

you just never know.

if i had it to do over again, i would have been more cautious. we were naive...we believed the processing times...and we figured we'd save money by not filing for EAD since we figured he'd surely be approved quickly.

i only wish someone had warned us ahead of time.

good luck to you! may your approval be speedy, and without complication!
