Has anyone done this for their children, and if so, what forms of ID did you use as supporting documents for your children? Did you send originals?

(I'm assuming the baby was born in the U.S.) The Canadian consulate suggests the Social Security card and U.S. passport.

Yes, they were all born here in the US. OK, thanks, that's exactly what I was planning on sending.

Would you by any chance know the processing time? I know it says about a year, is that the usual timeline?
