Sending off Packet 3 (London Embassy)

Hi All,

I am shortly going to be sending off the contents of Packet 3 to the London Embassy but had a quick question regarding the DS-2001 form.

Is it OK to send this off without having yet gathered all the evidence? I ask this as I would like to send everything off in one go to save as much time on this whole process as possible. I have gathered most of the documents that is requested but am just waiting on a few things (e.g. I have requested my full Birth Certificate, so am just waiting for it to come in the post). I am yet to have my medical (scheduled for mid-to-late June time) and can definitely say that by the time I have my medical and the Embassy receives the results, I would have everything needed ready for my interview.

Have many others done this?

Well If you want to sign your name to something that says

I attest that I have all of the documents specified in the Instructions for Visa Applicants and other instructions, which are applicable in my case, and I am prepared for immigrant visa interview.

when it is clearly not true, then go ahead. Why are you asking? Will it make it more honest if somebody says they did it too? It's your call.
