We've collected all we need to, and now my fiance is going to send the application this weekend, I just a have a quick question though.

My fiance in the US is going to be co-sponsored. When filing the initial documents -I-129F, G32A etc.....does the co sponsor need to submit a copy of any document at this stage?

Thanks in advance

No the co-sponsor wont need to file anything now.

You just file the I-129F, and 2 G-325A forms, along with all evidences of having meet in past 2 years, and continuing relationship, and letters of intent. Nothing financial at this point so no co-sponsor needed.

No support info is needed yet, that happens for the visa interview, and later at adjustment of status stage.

Study these guides carefully before sending your petition, and you should have no problems.

JSP,

Have you read through the information about what is required for the petition? If so, did you see anything in there that relates to financial sponsorship for the subsequent visa?

Two things to keep in mind with regard to your question

- the petition is not a visa application, and

- K-visa applicants do not necessarily need a sponsor (although most do).
