I'm a little nervous about the recent filing I did on November 21st. But, thanks to all the good information on this site and everyone's positive attitudes, I felt I could do this without an attorney. My wife wasn't so sure, so on Monday we visited the USCIS office in Sacramento. That was pretty much a wasted trip but I was hoping that I could file the forms directly in their office since that is where it will end up anyway. No such luck.

But my wife was happy as we visited a couple of Russian/Ukrainian stores and spent too much money again. But she was so happy and our son got to get a little feel of Kiev right here in America. We bought him a book at the Christian bookstore, so he was pretty happy.

Wish us luck!

1HappyGuy,

What is it that you filed for your wife's son? It's too late for him to apply for a K2 visa, as your subject line indicates.

Opps, sorry about that. He's been back from Ukraine about a month now and we are filing for AOS. Just sent in the application for permanent status, biographical information and support forms. I meant that he came here as a K-2 visa recipient. Sorry for the confusion.
