So I called NVC today to check up on our case. The agent told me that a checklist had been generated and they were looking for my birth certificate, police check, and marriage certificate. All of which was emailed to the NVC in my DS260 package. I wonder if these is standard procedure as they receive documents? DO they slowly check them off the list? I received an email of receipt of them receiving the DS260 package. I am wondering if I need to send it again. It was originally sent by my husband (the petitioner) should it have come from my email address? The agent told me to wait a week and see as the checklist had been generated but not sent out yet. I am just paranoid. I need to get through NVC soon, as I am 5 months pregnant and my time frame to fly to Montreal for my interview is slowly dwindling.

There is often a false checklist issued when they review the AOS package or when they review the IV package. I wouldn't worry at all until you get an actual checklist. Also they will send you a checklist that says to bring the photos to the interview because they don't accept scanned photos (if you included the 2 with your IV package email.) Did you follow the instructions in Saylin's wiki?

I had 2 emails about each package - one was the auto response and the other was the "going to review" email. The review email took about 8 business days for the IV package and 5 for the AOS package. I had a case complete via calling on the 15th (2 business days after the AOS package review email), the photo checklist 2 days later and the email for that came a week later on the 22nd.

According to Saylin's spreadsheet I spent 26 days overall at the NVC. :D

Yeah I followed Saylin's wiki to the letter. Thanks for the response I was worried.

So it sounds like this is just part of the process, and I put the package together again, ready to be sent if I get a checklist.

I am wondering if I am close to case complete? If they are reviewing my packages only 6 days after I sent them?
