Hi,

Currently, I am in US as F1 and my wife (US Citizen) is sponsoring me and currently her income is 20k/year but last year her income was 16k/year. So, in latest w-2 her income is 16k. I am not sure if I can use latest income in i-864. If I can what are the documents do I need to present?

Also, if I can't I can show our joint a/c balance to meet the property guidelines. For joint a/c do I need to submit any other form with 1864 even I am intending immigrant and she is sponsoring me. Does it matter if a/c balance fluctuates with couple of thousands while processing?

In part 5 of i-864 for question I am confused. for question 1 (Enter the number you entered on line 7 of part 3), I include 1, for question 3 (If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse) which is again 1. So, it ends up with total household 3 including herself. Can I make it 2? Please suggest.

In worst case one of my friend can joint sponsor me. But her husband is coming to US next week. So, in i-864 should she include her spouse as dependent?

Thank you all.
