Hello again UK sub-forum.

I (finally) received our NOA2 for our I-129F petition on May 16th, so my fiance and I are leveling up to the London Level. He took his passport pictures today and is getting the stuff ready for the police certificate this weekend (he had to do this when he had a student visa here so he's not worried about that). He printed off and went through the forms we know he'll need today, so far no problems there. Our case is pretty straightforward, aside from the sponsoring side of things and the interview date constraints.

1. Sponsoring - some of you may remember my post back in December about self-sponsoring through London. We are still going to attempt that route. He had his house (that he co-owns with his brother) appraised last week and got that valuation signed. He is going to his bank(s) and financial things this coming week to get notarized copies of his assets. We're hoping showing these things will suffice for the self-sponsoring route. As a back up, my father has filled out (well, my mom filled it out for him) an I-134, got his tax transcripts for the last three years, a letter from his boss, and will get his pay stubs this week and a letter from the bank as well. As a double security backup, I got my tax transcripts and will include examples of invoices and copies of checks of my work (even though I don't meet the guidelines having just transitioned to freelance work). He is going to approach the interview armed with his self-sponsorhip information and present my dad's forms only if asked. Same for my forms.

2. Interview date constraints - I'm kind of grateful that London takes a while to process everything. When CSC was at a stand still a few weeks ago (still processing July) we decided to book his tickets to Disney World from London as we figured we wouldn't hear anything before July/August with regards to our NOA2. So that is August 6th through the 18th. As it goes, we just got our NOA2 and timelines suggest we might be getting an interview date then or before then. Obviously, we need the interview to occur after the 18th so we're going to take it nice and slow with replying to everything and setting the medical appointment. In the cover letter, we're going to request an interview after the 19th of August and hopefully that'll be fine.

So this is what we're up to now! Anyone have any insights into either of these things? Or any general tips or feedbacks they'd like to offer? Or cake?

I am the USC/petitioner.
