I am curious as to what to expect. My wife and i have messed around about applying for adjustment of status. She has been here two years and a little. We did get married before the K1 expired and we got her social security card. We have had the money several times but originally she did not work or want to work. So we would blow it on something else. Now we have the money and are determined to get everything done. We located a civil surgeon in a neighboring town, should have medical exam in a couple weeks when they can fit us in. we have all other forms filled out except for affidavit of support. I am currently starting a new business and wont have a verifiable income for a while. However our good friends are willing to support us they make a household income of around 90,000.00 and there are only two of them. Jordan makes 75,000.00 of it himself. so i am assuming with there support we will be ok. But should i do anything else special since we are so far behind schedule? thanks for any thoughts and help.
