Hi VJ'ers,

I haven't really posted much on this site, but I have been a pretty prolific lurker. I must say, you have all been so incredibly helpful, informative and supportive - which is so wonderful for people going through this messy process.

However, my now-husband (!!!) and I have decided to abandon the USCIS fiance visa process. We got married here in California over the weekend, and are beginning the hopefully much briefer journey into English immigration and we are settling in London instead.

I have read that all we need to do is send a letter to CSC withdrawing my petition (we're still pre-NOA2) with delivery confirmation, then it's done. Is there anything else I need to take care of? I want him to be free to come over as a tourist without hassle.

Again, I really appreciate all the amazing stuff you all have done, with the congressional letters, White House petitions, the spectacular statistical analysis of approvals, and most of all, the kind words. I wish everyone the very best of luck on their journeys.

Rachel and John-Paul
