DWI will affect N-400 application

Hello!

My husband got a DWI a couple of months ago. He pledged guilty; he still has yet to complete the community service hours and pay the fee imposed. He wants to file for his citizenship, is this DWI going to a problem when applying for it? We don't want it to get rejected and then have to re-file and spend double the amount of money. Thanks for all your information! ;)
