I wasn't aware this was an argument...thought we were just debating our personal preferences and experiences with the airports in general. :)

From Kelle's earlier post I think she is now going to travel up to her fiance, have some rumpy pumpy the night before ( :P ) and then travel down to London for the interview the following day.

Woot Woot to the RUMPY PUMPY :innocent:

Okay if she is going to do that the debate is going to be what is the quickest/cheapest way from Liverpool to London?

Is Kellie aware that it will take her 3 hours on the train from Liverpool Lime Street to Euston or 4 hours to drive depending on the M6 being clear?

Is she going to fly straight into Liverpool John Lennon Airport or into London and then travel up to Liverpool and then back??

Driving from Central London to both airports, as I have flown out of each, I have found Heathrow to be much closer, but that's my opinion. Keep in mind, that's in a car.

Of course I'm also biased cos I was once detained for 9 hours at Gatwick, so take it fwiw

Nothing can be simple... :P

I can see myself lost in London already...

I might have to rethink this and just surprise him in merseyside and call in some help from his mum and pops to help with the surprise and just drive to London with him.

Sweet another person from merseyside how is he gettin to his interview??? I was looking at train times and they are ridiculous if you have to be there an hour before the interview I hope they take into consideration where he is coming from.

As for Airports it is a lot easier to get round London and surprise someone than get round merseyside and surprise someone and also a lot cheaper becuase Liverpool airport is expensive to fly into.

The tubes and trains in London are a lot better to understand as well tust me I was born and bread in London but now i'm living with my sister near Liverpool so I know them both well.

I would reccomend flying into heathrow more than gatwick becuase the tubes run more frequently than the Gatwick express to Victoria. Also Heathrow airport is slightly cheaper for taxes than Gatwick is becuase it is the most widely used airport. Another airport you could try is London City Airport which I think is actually in the centre of London but don't quote me on that one.

Well good luck anyway and feel free to pm me if you need more advice about either Liverpool or London.
