Hi,

I am planing to apply for tourist visa B2 this month for second time, I applied 1 year ago and CO refuse my visa under section 214 B, she was so rude and angry in Abu Dhabi embassy, in 1 minute only she refuse me.

I am so confused now but I want to visit my relative and friends and I want to see New York for the first time in my life during my vacation (15 days) then I want to to visit Paris and Rome for 10 days, I don't know if I told CO my initiatory plan and show him that I have schengen visa for second time and I already visited Rome and Paris from 50 days will help me to get B2 visa after they refuse me last year.

Also I am engaged now and I am planing to marry in six months.

You know guys that the interview will be 2 or 3 mins and really I don't know what to say to CO?

Please help me and suggest for me what is best for my issue to say and also one more question, which is better for the invitation letter if it comes from my aunt, my anunt husband ( both of them now are US citizen) or from my friend.

Waiting your soonest reply.

Thank you so much.

Aboud, there is little you can say to the CO. Just make sure you bring documentation proving you have a job, bank statements to corroborate a salary, mortgage documents, car registration and any other documents to suggest you will have to return home.

Good luck!

Thank you Gegel for your reply.

Last year I show her all required documents but she refuse me, she was so rude, I think am not luck to meet her.

Is the shengen visa will give me better chance?

It is really hard to tell what will give you a better chance. Popular belief is that having a visa for other countries help, but in reality the CO will look at your file on its own merit before rendering a decision.

Cos don’t have time to chat with applicants, most interviews last for 5-7 mins for B1/2.

Having Schenghan visa does not guaranteed you a visa to US, same way letter from your Aunt or friend does not hold any weight.

Your application will be reviewed on its own merits, it will be based on how strong your ties are in your home country.

Job, property, investments, contractual agreements etc. would help you in establishing your ties to your home country.
