I'm thinking of sending the I130 to sponsor my wife to the U.S. However, We are also thinking if her skillset has the potential for a U.S employer to sponsor her on a work visa.

If I send in the I130, and in the mean time, she also looks for an employer in the U.S to sponsor her, will that cause any problems? IE, will the work visa not be approved because the I130 was sent in?

It is legal right? She is not coming as a tourist to get married, but she is coming to work. In my mind, I see no problem with that since she is granted long term stay...but I"m not sure.

The I-130 should not affect visa applications. The reason is that the I-130 is not a visa application itself, but merely a request for the the US government to recognize that your relationship qualifies for a family-based visa application, something that you submit in a subsequent step.

By the time the I-130 is approved, you will know more about the work visa application and how you plan to proceed. You may abandon the I-130 and not send in a family-based visa application at all if you wish.

I agree with the above, your plan is fine. Most work visas are dual intent, so she can come to the USA and then Adjust Status to get a greencard and stay.
