How long until Interview Date Issued?

I sent all the forms off that were requested, I've had my medical exam, paid the MRV fee so all of that is done now.

How long does it take for them to issue me an interview date?

I'm so eager to get things done, I can't stand waiting around!

It takes approximately four weeks from receipt of all the DS forms (including the readiness letter) and receipt of the medical exam results for the interview date to be assigned. It usually takes 4-5 business days for the exam results to arrive at the embassy. You can also call the Dept. of State line to confirm your forms have been logged - (202) 663-1225.

You should know by now that there is no such thing as a maximum in this process...

So does everyone on here...you make preparations for the next steps after receiving the visa. Read up on the adjustment of status steps so you're ready to go once you're in the U.S. and know what happens next. The journey is far from over.

I waited 3 weeks (including easter BH) and i was also very impatient, after studying timelines I knew it will be 3-4 weeks waiting.

By checking UK embassy timeline you can see who's got upcoming interviews and compare their timelines with yours - obviusly i had too much spare time on my hands
