I check our Online status from time to time, and for the past 2 years it has said basically the same thing. It says our case is pending due to Namecheck.

I checked it today and got something altogether different. Tell me what ya think!

I cannot find Missouri Service Center. Is that the Kansas, Missouri SC office.

Not real sure this is great news but it has to be better than no news.

Don't get your hopes up, they just changed the standard wording of the text on the case status online pages. The Missouri Service Center thing is a red herring, I assume its triggered off the fact that your case status starts with "MSC". The Missouri Service Center is the National Benefits Center BTW, not the Kansas DO.

Infopass no kidding.....that's a different message than we have and we are also in namecheck.

Your fingerprint check should have been done ages ago, not just recently.

Methinks your file is buried on someone's desk.....

Namecheck is part of the fingerprint process. It seems they have changed their format on the USCIS site. I guess I was just hoping.

Patrick...i would definitely advise making an infopass appointment. you are WAY out of the timeline for normal processing. I would make the appointment and tick the box that says "I wish to speak to an immigration officer". This much delay is ridiculous...and I wouldn't be willing to sit by and wait any longer. Have you contacted the ombudsman? Have you contacted your senator? Have you considered contacting an attorney to file a writ of mandamus suit? (of course, to file WOM, you have to have proof that you have exhausted all options...so start contacting them now...and document EVERYTHING!)

Oh yes. But the fingerprinting results come back quickly - long before the namecheck results are in. Thus my comment.
