Hello! My fiancé and I received an email on April 25th that our petition had been approved and to expect our NOA2 in the mail with instructions for what's next.

I know that in the meantime, we should be getting our paper work together, including the affidavit of support, medical history, and police certificate.

My fiancé lived in the Netherlands for one year and ten days, so it is my understanding that he will need one from there as well as from his home country, the UK. I've found how to order the UK one online, but have yet to find any way to order one from the Netherlands. Is there some way of doing this online, that someone could link me to? And what documentation is needed to order one from there?

Also, for either police certificate, does my fiancé need to have fingerprinting done? And how long does it typically take for the police certificates to come in?

Thank you! I wish you all the best. :)

Can't help with the Netherlands bit, but as far as the UK Police Certificate is concerned no fingerprints needed and they say roughly it can take up to about 10 days to receive the certificate. However you can pay more for a faster turnaround.

Awesome, thank you! I don't think we'll need it to be expedited, but I'm glad to hear it's an option. smile.png
