HELLO,

My husband had his interview on March 25th, they told him everything is good took his passport and said about 3 weeks. I have been looking online since and he is under AP. How long will he be in AP??? If there was something wrong they woul not have taken his passport right?

Taking his passport means nothing.

The average AP time in Cairo is 2 months. It can be much longer. I hope yours is almost done.

First of all am sorry about what happened in your husband's interview, Secondly i would like to tell you that keeping his passport and making him pay DHL ( for shipping his passport with visa home ) means that they are going to print for him, If there were going to send the case back to the US or anything, They would have gave him the passport and told him that they are sending it back, Basically now they are easier making sure all the documents are there or they are just making background checks him with the Egyptian government not the american ones because the american background checks are done already, Just have some patience and wait for your husband inshallah .

There is no need to thanks me. Did they give your husband any papers ? If yes. Does it have 221g or 212 g ? Did the CO make him sign any forum? I could give you a more detailed answeres if you could answer these questions.

Yes he signed a forum at the interview, the paper that the CO gave him just basicaly gives you the website to look at for your case status?? What exactly is 221g or 212g?

Well. Thats very good. Make sure the paper he gave him dorsn't contain these numbers i gave you. Its laws btw. If you asked anymore questions and i didn't respond. Its because am driving lol

Hoping for a quick approval for you They took my husbands passport and only gave him the paper with the website info on how to check our case online. We are in Administrative processing going on a little over 4 months now. It's tough, but I have faith that we will hear good new soon

I just looked at the paper and it has none of those numbers all it says on top is " Importmant message to all visa applicats " and just gives FAQ.
