Brief conversation with Senator's office

Well, I wrote my Senator a while back about the slowdown, received the privacy forms to fill out and I've been waiting...

Today, after feeling more impatient than usual, I contacted the office. They let me know that my request was sent in on April 10th, and they hadn't received anything back yet. (I assume they are probably buried in requests from the rest of you VJ'rs )

While I was on the phone, I asked if they'd had an influx lately of service requests for K1's, and was told that they have been the same as usual. I was kinda surprised they hadn't had a jump in them lately.

I suppose that no news is good news, since I haven't been told by USCIS the standard line that they aren't going to do anything.

I contacted both but I was contacted first by Flake's office (technically in my district) within a week. It took three weeks to hear from McCain's office, and by that point, I had already started the process with Flake's office, so I let McCain's drop, as it seem they are a lot slower over there.
