Petition Sent to Wrong Embassy

After waiting months for my NOA2 I thought we made it through the hard part. The case was received by the NVC two weeks later and after two days was forwarded. However, it was forwarded to Greece instead of to Georgia which is where my fiance lives and where I requested the petition be forwarded on the 129F. After calling the NVC Friday they said the only thing that could be done was to try and contact both embassies. The Georgian embassy emailed back saying I had to contact the Greek embassy. After multiple emails and hours on the phone I'm unable to get anyone on the phone who can assist me in any way in Athens.

Calling the NVC and letting them know the situation they told me to forward my case to a supervisor but his only advice was that the Georgian embassy would have to request the transfer. Georgia said they cannot assist me until I hear back from the Greek embassy but after one week there has been no progress on that front.

Has anyone had any success in getting a competent person on the phone at the Athens embassy? Or any advice to help in this situation.

I'm having a similar situation. My fiancee lives and works in Thailand, I put the Bangkok Embassy on the I-129f, I got an e-mail today saying it has been sent to the US Embassy in Manila... When I e-mailed the Embassy it said that there is a high volume and will take more than 3 days to respond. Have to wait until they open to try calling.
