Okay so I just read that in order to be able to support my fiance I have to be making at least 19,400 a year, 125% above the poverty level. Is this true? Also I just started working in the year 2012 part time because I was a high school student. When I graduated that high school I got a job immediately as an electrical apprentice since thats what I went.to my technical high school for. Year of 2012 I made 4.5k at my part time and about 11.5k as an apprentice. Now I know that doesn't make 19,400 but since now I'm working full time and got a raise I can easily make about 25k. with overtime and rate jobs it easily adds up to 30k since now I'm on one making 38/hr. What can I do to show them that I can actually support her? Or should I wait until this year ends ? I really want to petition this year so any advice guys?

The affidavits for support are not required until the interview 6-8+ months from now,

Different countries require different evidence for support, one being a statement from your employer stating your pay and full time status...see the requirements of the two versions of documents - i cant remember the numbers or i would list them (both called affidavit of support) more information is Available on the uscis website and in the guides on here. :-). Good luck!
