Hello,

Was wondering if anyone has any experience on joint sponsors, our nephew met a American girl who doesnt meet the income requirements and we found out that we can be a joint sponsor for him, do you think SHE still has to meet the income guidelines even though she has us doing a joint sponsor form for them?

I remember 20 years ago I came in with a joint sponsor being my ex didnt make enough, but who knows if they need the primary to make it or not nowadays.

Any feedback on this?

If she made enough on her own, then she wouldn't need to find joint sponsors. Yes you can jointly sponsor if she doesn't qualify.
