hello everyone.

I took the oath ceremony yesterday, and I'm having my naturalization certificate now. So , do I consider done with all of the USCIS paper work?? and on my naturalization certificate , the marital status is Married , I just say if later I'm be single, does it affect my citizenship ??

congratulations,you need up grade your social security card make a few copies to keep. sign the original naturalization certificate go to the ss office show your certificate that's it,if your married now and get divorce your still a us citizen don't matter.

Ha, sounds like you are planning a divorce, if so, were you planning it through all the stages? Best not to ask that question, better to say you married in good faith.

I am not planning for anything , and I hope my marriage for longlife , and it is in a good faith forever. I just ask because you don't know what will happen in yourlife , what if she/he not love you anymore.

then you divorce them and move on.. the only way uscis can take back your citizenship is if you lied on your application, among other things.. http://www.newcitizen.us/losing.html

so congrats fellow citizen.. and get your blue passport the earliest possible.. that's the best evidence for proving citizenship anywhere..

N-400 filed based marriage to usc = april ??

biometrics = june 21

interview = august 2

oath taking = august 29

done..
