We are collecting the proof of our ongoing relationship but the question is, how to copy and present facebook messages? Did you do print screens? Also we can provide print screens of messages made on a smart phone.

Asking this because simple copy paste to Word gets bulky and distorted.

Another question is do we have to provide our very first messages from when we just met to uscis at this stage?

Thank you :-)

You can request a copy of your Facebook data as a download. Go to 'Account'. In General Account Settings, there is a clickable link under the settings to download a copy of your data. This will include messages. The downloaded messages can be copied and pasted to Word or a similar program and seem to format fairly well. I'm not sure about what messages should be included - I know I can't include all of mine as they'd be over 1000 pages long. I'm thinking maybe just pick out some random selections across a variety of dates.

Thank you, that's a good idea, I think we will do that. I know of that feature, so this will come in handy! If that shows the dates next to the messages, then just printing out a few pages at random will do fine (usually something when we discuss our trips, future together and so on).

I tried it out a couple of months ago, though I'll have to do a new download once we get NOA2 as this one is too early. It did have both dates and times next to the messages :) As far as I can tell from what I've read, they like to see some evidence of discussion of regular everyday things as well as trip planning - I think maybe including a few of those might be a good idea too. I'm thinking just the usual random chat that takes place about how the day's going, that sort of thing.

We sent "print screens" of Gmail, Facebook and Skype conversations. Since I have an iPhone, I could send print screens of Whatsapp conversations as well. The only thing that's important is that the evidence should be clear and understandable and print screens are perfect in my opinion. :) You can also put a tag on each of the papers explaining what that is. For example: "Facebook conversation with my fiancé from 08/22/2012".

Thank you :-) I was thinking of print screens as well. Might use these for skype messages and emails. I have made some print screens so far, so will be printing them out.

Yet another question :-) Did you guys write in comments on your evidence (chats on FB, Skype) like: Facebook messages, February, 2013? Email messages Feb-March2013? Did you highlight any dates and names on boarding passes or just put it all in?

Thank you a lot !
