Greetings to all. My wife and I just received news that our I-130 visa application for our adopted son in the Philippines has been approved by the USCIS and sent to the Visa Center. We are, of course ,thankful for this news and we appreciate the useful information from many of you on this site.

Of course we also want the remainder of this process to go as smoothly as possible. I have read the information on the wiki and " James shortcuts" I would still like to hear from any you who have completed the whole process;any hints on errors I could avoid with the National Visa Center and how long it might take before we get our interview date from the U.S. embassy in Manila. Thanks in advance for your help.

For any of you still in the I-130 process, we sent in our application to the Phoenix lock box on Dec. 20 and received our approval notice on March 18
