Hello Everyone! I filed I-130 to my mom and dad last October 27, 2012. Received a letter of receipt Nov 1, 2012 and USCIS cashed my check. February 15, 2013 when I received a letter that my petition is approved and will forward all our papers to NVC. Today, I received a letter from NVC that we are eligible for further processing and is asking for AOS payment of $88. It says there not to pay AOS fee twice. So does it mean, I only need to pay $88 one time even I'm petitioning both of my parents? When do I send proofs of my affidavit of support? I know we're almost half way there, but until now, I'm still confused of all the steps. Please advice. Thanks!

$88 is already good for both parents. You can pay a

t https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

After payment, you can print the Coversheet(with barcode). Should be one coversheet each. then wait for the payment status to change as PAID and mail the AOS packet afterwards. Also, pls check my timeline below might help you coz I am also petitioning my parents.

Me and my husband just start the process for his parents to get there papers. Here is out time so far. What is so weird is that our cases start with MSC so we are unable to check online or by phone at this time. And today we received the the I-797C notice for is mom and not for his dad and we mailed them both at the same time together. How long is it taking for the process of the I-130 to get approved.

Yes NOA(Notice of Action). It looks like your case has been routed to NBC(National Benefits Center) based on your receipt number(MSC). as what I have read in the forum,it's pretty normal for most that cannot check their cases online. It takes a few months to show up and others don't until they've been approved. And as for your husband's mom's receipt, since you havn't rec'd it yet maybe try calling uscis to follow up. Also, for the approval at NBC it approx takes 3-4 months for the approval based on my research in vj forum.
