So, they requested us to send more documentation after the interview. We submitted 14 affidavits from family and friends with his passport. They sent back his passport last week (no visa). Does this mean that we will be denied? I am truly disgusted with this process.

Don't know but at a minimum it means more review by them. I think they were looking for more than affidavits, but someone from your country and embassy should respond.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I would call or email and ask them. Maybe they sent you to AP. Was there a letter with the passport?

We were chosen for AP. They wanted more photos, emails, phone logs, and documentation showing "in kind" support. We had submitted a years worth of emails (80 pages), 15 photos, 3 months of phone logs and no "in kind" support because I support myself and his mother supports him. The only way to go was with the affidavits. They stated they are processing our information and they sent back his passport. If I had known I was going to marry him four years ago, I would have saved everything I ever had with him. However, I was living and travelling through Turkey and I dated him for 6 months. I did not know it would develop into this and I didn't even know anything about this process until I started this last year. I HATE this!! Thank you all for letting me vent!

I am so sorry for your pain. My husband was interviewed in Ankara last January 12th, 2012. He was given a statement saying that his petition would be returned to the USCIS in America. The fact that they kept your husband's passport was a good sign. Now that they have sent it back to him I think it could only mean two things, he is in administrative processing or maybe they are sending the visa in a separate mailing. I wish you the best.

NOA 1 November 15, 2010

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Closed NVC Ocotber 11, 2011

Interview Date: January 12,2012

Thank you my wonderful God in Heaven.

They don't send the Visa separate from the passport. They'll ask for the passport back when they have approved the Visa. You need to email or call them to find out what is going on. Don't assume anything. Ask if what you sent was suffisant proof or is more required. Don't give up. Stay on top of this. I know it must be hard I would be in tears but emailing and calling anyone who I thought could help me. Call/email your congressman and ask for help. Show them you are not alone or just giving up.

They send it because they have not make a decision yet. The embassy might put him in Administrative process.
