Hello all, I am Hassen. I am new here. 4 months after my interview the embassy asked me to submit my passport. They took my passport and gave me a receipt for pickup. That was on the 19th february 2013, and the delivery date was on the 25 feb. Nothing on the 25th and the 26th. The embassy called me on the 27th and advised me not to expect my passport to be delivered because my visa was yet to be issued and they had to do some more reviewing in the mean time i can pickup my passport without the visa anytime or leave it with them, and that I should wait for their call. It was wierd because the CEAC online case status read ISSUED. Anyway i called the Dept. of State and I was told my case was under AP and CEAC web page showing - my visa is printed and will soon be ready for delivery - is a common system glitch for K-1 visas at this stage. Its been 9 days and no word yet. So my questions are: Is this a new AP because on feb 19th the Consular said everything checks out and my visa is approved. Has the whole "Everything checks out, your visa is approved" thing been false hope. Has anyone faced this before? Please help me. Thanks in advance.
