How long is the processing taking

We have our 10 year GC, and my wife and son are able to apply for Citizenship. However, she was to travel back to her home country for a month or so in the summer. I didn't want to be in the process of trying to get everything completed and her interview come up while she was gone. So I was wondering how long is the process normally taking? We may just wait until she comes back to begin.

Yes - Anywhere from 3 months but usually 6 to 9 months.

It depends on your field office. So check the USCIS site to see current process times. Also go back through the jan, dec, nov etc filer threads and that will give you another idea of how long it is taking to get to interview or oath ceromony.
