Hi everyone,

In answering the question "Describe the circumstances under which you met"

What if you met online?

Are you required to be specific including the website and the duration of you contact prior to meeting in person?

How do you know if an online dating site is considered and International Marriage Broker?

As for how you met: saying that you met online is widely accepted now. I imagine that you would have to tell them which dating site you met on eventually....maybe during your interview. I don't think there's any specific questions on the i129f application that speaks to that. I didn't go through a marriage broker, so I can't answer that one. Maybe some of my expert peers can talk about that.

Hope that helps!!

List it if you are not sure; it really doesn't matter at all.
