Hi

I need help regarding k1 visa plz

Basically i am from pakistan but i m living in Uk from past three and half years

My current status in uk is POST STUDY WORK

Which is going to expire in. March 2013 ( next month) but i am going to apply for Enterpreneur visa in uk within a week

Apart from that my Fiancee who is usa citizen going to start my K1 visa thing

I wants to know does my status in Uk would effect k1 in any way ?

Is it ok to start both things at the same time ?

I mean uk visa and k1 in usa ?

Help would be highly appreciated

I think what you are doing is legal, but you may have a difficult time proving that you are not just visa shopping!

She will have to say which embassy when she fills out the petition. If your visa to the UK expires and another is not granted, you wouldnt be able to stay in the UK to finish processing. You would have to get the embassy changed so the file would be re-directed to Pakistan. It is going to take longer than average to process in the UK because everybody from Pakistan gets put in additional processing. Make sure your hoped for visa allows plenty of additional time in the UK.
