Seems like you have a lot.....depends on how many people in ur house hold.....you can have up to 8

people in ur household and you would still be fine

A 401K is not a liquid assett and cannot be counted. You income alone meets the requirements, you dont need to list any assetts at all.

In this case the more that you list the more questions that they can ask, so the rule is list enough to show that you are above poverty line with you and all your dependents including the immigrant that you will be sponsoring so if your income is enough then show only that.

Your income will support a family of 8 people. You dont need a co-sponsor.

Assets do not have to be liquid at the time the form is being filled out. Assets must be something of value that *can* be converted to case within 12 months.

A 401K can usually be cashed in, albeit with heavy penalty.

A 401k can often be counted, although not at 'face value'. Many 401ks can be borrowed against, and many allow premature withdrawals albeit with tax consequences and penalties.
