I am an American man that has fell in love with a Philippino woman...We have had a relationship on line, with texts and emails, and Facebook for a little over 1 year. We have recently met in person and I spent two of the greatest weeks of my life with her there with her and her family. I proposed to her and she accepted so I am trying to get as much information as I can in order to bring her to the US to get married. I think I need to fill out an I-129F and send it to a Texas office. What else do I need to send with it? Is this the first step? Thank you for your patiants and any help you can offer me, SDY PS: Is it nessasary to hire a service to help me complete this process or is that a waist of money ??

Here is a step by step guide on what to fill out for the I-129

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Take pictures with you and her and the family in different settings. Save your boarding passes, hotel, restaurant, atm receipts from the Philippines. Print out form G-325 and have her sign her form while your are there. Also have a letter of intent to marry by her signed while you are there.

Again go to the link http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide and carefully study it. If you do some of the steps while you are there it will save you time, and money. That is what I did.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12
