Got the MNL#. whats next?

Hi. We got our MNL# today. NVC said we should wait until the embassy contacts me. I think they are going to send me a package with the instructions on what to do next. That might take a couple more weeks and we dont want to wait. haha. Can we pay for the visa fee already since we only need the MNL# to do that so we can set the interview? Or should we wait for the package from USEM. thanks a lot!

Please be prepared that you/your gal may or may not receive a package from the USEM. You should have the MNL case#. I would suggest that you wait a couple of weeks and the start contacting the USEM daily [or regularly] by calls/emails to verify when they get the package and what needs to be done next. Personally, I would hold up paying the IV bill until you get embassy package, the medical taken care of, the CFO seminar and any other BS required by the US embassy and Phil. government.

now im not alone were on the same page..we got also our mnl# this morning and i cant wait anymore i wanna proceed to medical as what i read here in vj once u got ur mnl# ur good to go for medical..but we need an appointment letter from NVC so we need to wait before we can proceed..i'm confused what to do..should i wait for the USEM to contact me or not but maybe it will take a couple of weeks...(i'm just excited to get this stuff done so i can be with my fiance)..

After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL #

(don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )

Once you have your MNL # you can take your passport and required visa fee (in Php) to BPI and pay your visa fee. The embassy website states that within 4 hours of paying at BPI you can schedule your interview appointment but most times it seems to take about 24 hours.

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number (normally).

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.
