Your uncle is the qualified "joint sponsor", yes. It's only because of the time of year, that you would even need to consider sending any update to your uncle's affidavit. If he hasn't filed his 2012 return, then you won't have it to send anyway.

Oops I forgot to mention that the interview has not been scheduled yet. But by the time of the interview my uncle should have his tax return filed. Okay thanks a lot.

Update, the person my wife hired insists that I must send updated copies of the AOS forms and new documents with original signatures. The interview is on the 23rd. I already prepared most of the documents I should be ready to send it by this friday. Express mail is just a week right? almost 3 weeks left should be plenty of time.

Global Express Mail that will be delivered to her by EMS usually takes between a week and two weeks. 8 to 10 days is pretty common, in my experience.
