The Agony... The wait!!!

I filed my taxes and mailed our packet on the same day, a week ago. Both government agencies I am anxiously awaiting to hear from see to be taking their good ol' time.

We're due about a $10k tax refund and they are taking forever to approve it. We're also waiting for the Chicago Lockbox to accept our AOS applications. I know I have like a 5+ month wait for the AOS to complete, and that's all fine, no big issue at all. To me the suspense is that the paperwork arrived in good condition and the I485 was accepted to start processing, ya know? The feeling that anything can happen between now and then drives me nuts. Same thing with the tax return, I'm just worried because my wife's status expires today, if that'll effect her SSN and make the return be rejected.

Yes, this waiting game sucks. Lol

Take care.

David
