I just got through the interview in the beginning of Feb, I didn't get approved right away during the interview since the officer thought the financial evidence isn't clear and enough to prove. So the officer asked me to provide further information to clear the assets. My American fiance currently doesn't have job, but he has lots of assets to support our finance.

1. Does anyone meet with the same situation of being asked to provide more information? If we provide further information, is it high possible to get approved or not?

2. Does anyone get approved when your American fiance or husband doesn't have job,but base on the sufficient assets?

3. After I provide more information, usually how long will it take to receive the decision from the consulate?

Hello, I am American and got NOA1 3Aug12. It is now over 180 days of waiting for further action, but I was told yesterday when I reached California processing office [not VT], that "they missed their 150 day goal and expect NOA2 in 2-3 weeks". I am in China and anxious for her to have interview: I do not have a job, but I am older, over 65, so I have social sec income, investment income, assets and a monthly pension payment so in our case I do not expect any issue on financial evidence [i will provide them 3 years tax returns]. This is all I know that may bear on your situation or help others reading. Good luck, this whole process is for very patient people.
