The US citizen has time to request filing transcripts from the IRS for the three previous years (2009, 2010, 2011) if they do it immediately by phone or online. Transcripts are always preferred. They should receive their transcripts within a couple weeks. When they get them, they can fax or e-mail copies to the non-USC spouse (transcripts do not need to be signed or notarized). If for some reason they aren't received, then the copies should be OK, but they will need to have all schedules and forms attached (that is, a copy of every piece of documentation you submitted with your return).

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

if the nvc has approved of all copies would this be needed ? because the funny thing is i submitted same evidence and affidavits for my wifes case why would they accept one and not the other i also have co sponsors if my affidavits and theres are will all be well?

Just give them what they're asking for! Who knows why they're asking. It could even be a mistake. Just do it because the process will not go forward without it.
