Hello Vjer's

It has been a long bumpy road but I am now finally on the last stretch..

Background--Was an F1 student, married a USC 2007. Got a 2yr conditional green card in 7/28/2008. Divorced 2010. Filed 751 waiver and received 10 yr green card.

I will be eligible to file N400 end of April 2008.

I was looking at the N400 form and I need help with some of the questions:

1. Date divorced-- What date do I put? The date the divorce was filed? The date the judge signed? It was filed by the clerk on the same day the judge signed.

2. Arrest: Do I need to attach the police reports or just the dismissal paperwork?

Also, this is what I will be including in the package:

1. N400 form

2. Copy of green card, front & back

3. Passport size pics

4. Court docs showing charges dismissed

5. Fee for N400

6. Divorce decree

Do I need to include anything else?

I was thinking about taking the tax transcripts to the interview with me.

Thanks for your time!!

The date when your divorce went thru or marriage ended or when you got divorced is the date when judge signed your divorce judgement. So just disregard when a divorce case is filed or when a divorce judgement is entered because all is matter is when the divorce was signed by the judge.

As for the criminal situation then you don't need arrest or police report; rather dismissal record. However, you should take arrest or police record with you to the interview because some officers do ask to read the whole situation. Everything should be certified copies.

The list of documents/stuffs for N-400 written by you looks fine.
