hello everyone...

heard a lot about co sponsor; doesnt require for K1 visa and your petetionor required to meet the poverty guideline..

is it true please advice... my fiancee works at store and her salary doesnt meet the poverty guideline... so her family friend a professor in university is a co sponsor with my case.... please advice is it ok....

If your fiancee is making 15,000/year. You will need savings 3x the shortfall from the required income.

Example: for a household of 2:

Required Income = 19,000

Actual Income = 15,000

---------

Shortfall = 4,000

Required savings = 3 x 4,000 = 12,000

PLUS: Your fiancee needs to provide 2009, 2010 and 2011 tax reports.

YES FOR K-1 CO-SPONSER DOES NOT WORK MOST OF THE ASIAN COUNTRIES.
