I am about to graduate college and want to visit home with my husband for 4 months.

Will this raise a red flag with CBP when I come back?

Assuming you are a US LPR...

You should be fine. You may be asked what you were doing; just answer honestly. There's no need to get a reentry permit for a 4 month trip.

N.B. The US is your home.

Haha true. We're just travelling as college students/grads. :) I hope it's a good enough reason since I haven't visited China for 3 years. My husband hasn't met any of my family except my parents.

as long as you have a green card? No worries.

You'll be allowed back in.

You might have some problems with name, green card vs passport,

so carry a marriage certificate also.

Good Luck !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
