Hi

Would anybody know how long does it take for Biometrics to take place from the date they receive forms for re-entry permit?

There is no set time. They will send you a Form I-797C, "ASC Appointment Notice" indicating a specific date and time for them to "capture" your biometrics. We got the ASC appointment notice at the same time as we received the Form I-797Cs (NOA1) acknowledging receipt of our AOS petitions/applications (AOS, AP, EAD). However, if you review other recent pertinent threads, there doesn't seem to any pattern.
