DS 230 part 2

Hi, I have a question about the second part of the DS 230 form (DS 230 part 2). When do you need to fill in this form? I have my intereview at the embassy soon, but I only have to fill and send in the DS 230 part 1 part. Is DS 230 part 2 used at a later stage? Is it used during the interview or only once you are changing your status from nonimmigrant application to immigrant application?

You need to complete the form DS-230 before your appointment and bring it with you to the embassy. Just don't sign the second part since you are supposed to do it in front of the CO. The DS-230 is your actual visa application.

Hello FleurdV! Congrats on your comming interview! It is great.

DS-230 part II is for spouse. You are not required to do anything with it since you are not married. You can always bring it with you to the embassy, but they won't ask for it.

Re read the instruction they sent you, every form you need will be listed on there. DS 230II is not on there = you don't need it.
