Two months and not even a touch....

After a lenghty two month delay because my husband sent copies of our G-325's and not one's with an orginal signature...I was hoping that things would move a little faster for us. Niave- yes but I'd seen some approvals with 35 days.

Now it's been more than that...almost two months and we haven't had so much as a touch...

Is it appropriate at this point to call and see what is happening with our case or am I being impatient?

As YuAndDan said, it is very difficult to give advice when we can't see the details of your applications, particularly when you applied. Regardless, if it has been less than 2 months it is still early in the wait.

There have been a few people approved very quickly, but the majority of people for K3 are 2 months or much more. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about right now

If it makes you feel better.. we have had no touch for our I-130 since we filed in July 27 (104 days or 3+ months)

AND we have had no touch for our I-129F since we filed in August (Over 100 days or 2+ months ) and still waiting!

(As you can see in my signature, they transferred my case on Oct 27... TWO months after letting it sit and Missouri collecting DUST!)

No, that doesn't make me feel better but it does make me feel really bad for you.

I am sure you are more than frustrated. I still don't get how they say they handle cases based on dates when clearly there seems to be no rythme or reason behind it.

From what's happening in Montreal with 4 months to get a freaking interview.....I'm praying that I don't have to wait over 150 days for an approval.

way back when ours was languishing it was never touched from the time they rec'd it til they approved it. Which was about 7 months.

Be thankful they're moving a little quicker now.

we sent our I-130 back on June 26 (after being rejected), it hasn't been touched since they cashed the check in July. I think we're at day 135 or something......45 more and I can call

I'm in the same boat as you...no touches of our I-130 since July...they cashed our check, and nothing since....it's so frustrating. so people who are complaining that they haven't been touched in 2 months...try 5 months of nothing....hopefully there will some progress soon...

I hope so too... now I'm just looking forward to my hubby visiting me in December.. ehehehhehe it's better to count down to Dec until I see my hubby again vs. to count down the 130 and the 129 process... God knows when it'll be ready!??

Our I129 was 'touched' they sent it to the CSC; At least it didn't sit there for months collecting dust.

If you guys looks at my time line Im in the same boat as all of you. =0( my I-130 was never touched since we got our NOA1 except for when we had an address change. I129 F was touched because we kept getting noticed returned. Im just waiting for 6 months to be up for each of our application from the time the NOA1 was issued so that I can get some help. Who do we contact senetor or congressman?

I'm truly sorry for everyone who seems to be waiting an inordinately long time. I wish I could harness the angst and anxiety, because it could power a city. Looking back, I was naive to think a K-3 would take 4 to 6 months. In reality, it's double that, for us, at least.

Had we known we'd be apart a year, we would have had a different attitude going into this. We wouldn't have bitten out nails down to the quick waiting for the magical NOA2, since it takes just as much time AFTER that to get a stinkin' interview.

So many lives hang in the balance besides the couple. So my heart and prayers go out to everyone and their families. May God have compassion and reunite us all as quickly as possible.

Who do we contact senetor or congressman?

You can try either. My husband called both his state senators, and only the Republican called back and helped. Which at the time was really really stupid, because the other senator was the VP candidate for the 2004 election He did the same to a lot of other NC couples as well. If the USC half wasn't registered Dem, his office didn't call back.

Anyhoo, your senator's office will have a person there who is an immigration liason. Specifically there to help deal with immigration delays and such.
