Hi Everyone,

I found out today that my company is downsizing and I will be losing my job in a couple of weeks. So now I can't send a I-134 Affidavit of Support to my fiancee. What are my options? I can't believe this is happening. Thank you for any help you can provide.

i havent made her interview yet..still waiting for the case number but i think it should come soon so hopefully so i will make the appt for feb...my fiancee asked me a question which i will ask too..i have the letter from employer and other documents required...if i send that in will they check with my employer (or soon to be ex employer) if they dont do u think it would be ok to send in and if they check i can say that i got laid off after i sent the I-134 in or is that risky..i dont want to get into trouble
