My interview is tomorrow at USEM, I have my NBI clearnce with me but just the half that says 'Personal" copy. The other half is with NVC,is that ok? Do i just tell them that I sent the other half of my NBI clearance to NVC. I believe all the documents we sent to NVC will be at the USEM on the day of my interview. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I'm a bit paranoid! Hope to hear from you fellow VJers specially those who are filipinos! THANKS A LOT!!! :)

Timeline

You should have taken the time to get a new one. Based on your timeline, you got approved in October which means you got your NBI clearance in October as well. It is already dated. I have read a lot here that they require the latest record. Be prepared for US Embassy to request for a new one. Good luck on your interview!

Bring it at the interview but there's a big change that you'll get 221g to get the right NBI clearance that indicate "For travel abroad or For travel to US" Until you give them the right one, they'll keep your passport and won't print your visa if that's all the reason for delay

Good luck!

I got the right and updateNBI clearnce w/c is for TRAVEL ABROAD. The thing is the other half is with NVC and they said that all my documents will be sent to USEM so the other half is at the USEM already. Is that ok?

I had my interview last January 2, 2013. I did not request a new NBI clearance since what I submitted to NVC is not expired yet taken last August 2012. The consul who interviewed me did not even ask a single document from me not even photos. But I saw some people there received 221g due to expired NBI.
