i had the k1 interview on October,26 th in the US consulate in casablanca...everything went ok and at the end of the interview i have been told that they are going to call me in a week after they SECURITY CHECK is done...anyway,after exactly a week i recieved a call from the consulate asking me to come there and bring my passport with me on monday " today" . however,once there they ask me to leave my passport in the consulate for my visa won t be ready until the next day.

i am confused here ,,,, is it the way they deal with similar cases ???

any clarification please ,,,,,,,

Many consulates take a day to put a visa in a passport. It's done by machine, and I believe that the operation is run in batches.

what made me worry is the fact that there were other poeple there waitting for their tourist visa and they all got it in the same day except me .

I can't speak exactly for your case as i'm from the UK and we have Visa waiver program for 90 day tourist VISA's.

However many embassys including London take a couple of days to put the VISA in the passport.

In London they courier it back to you when it is done.

I wouldn't worry about this too much as tourist VISA's are usually less rigerous than other types.
