(F) Hi I was hoping somebody may have a thread for interview experiences in London. Im not sure whether we have to line up when we arrive and what types of questions I can expect, and how much I will have to pay on the day etc. Hope one of you guys can help me with this. :star::help:

Tracy....was there a link somewhere to people who went to interviews and posted their experiences??....I am not sure whether I am getting mixed up with another visa site or not.... :unsure:

April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

Can I pay it at any Barclays Bank, it has a branch no on. but no address. Who do I show the receipt to at the embassy. Sorry for these daft questions. :help:

I paid mine at my local barclays I dont think it has to be a certain one .

I dont know who you give one of the receipts to but I am pretty sure that they ask for it at some point.

I thought it was shown to the person at the 'window' during the actual interview, but I may be wrong.

Uh huh Tracy your right, infact its the very first thing they ask to see..........its all about da money :whistle:
