Moving in the middle of CR1 process

Hi everyone,

I will be getting married in one week! I hope to have my fiance file the I-130 (for the CR1 visa) as soon as possible after that (probably mid january). My problem is that I currently live in Spain with my Fiance (the USC), but we are moving to Mexico in June, since that´s when I finish my studies, and my parents have an extra room in their house in Mexico where we could live a few months while we wait for the visa. I assume I will be somewhere in the NVC stage by june.. how much will it affect my process if I move to mexico? Will my visa be delayed significantly? Will I have to submit extra paperwork? Has anyone had any experience with this?

I may be totally wrong here but how are you going to prove domicile if you've been living in Spain and are going to move to Mexico? You need to be living in the U.S. in order to bring your spouse there or to at least have the ability to prove you WILL be living there. Again, I may be wrong but are you able to prove domicile even though you are going to continue living abroad?

First, I should clarify that my soon to be husband is the US Citizen,not me. But you do bring up a good point. As soon as I get the visa we will move to the U. S and will move in (temporarily) with my fiance's parents, so we will put that as our future address on the forms. My fiance still has an American bank account where he gets his income deposited every month, and he is still making payments on his car, which is in the U.S, I've read that those are possible ways to prove reestablishment in the U.S. I'm not sure what else we can provide though..
